Fidelrope indoor robot in industry

Connecting islands of automation

For decades, many companies have applied automation exclusively to the manufacturing process, leaving islands of automation to be connected by manual transport logistics (fork trucks, tuggers and manual push carts).  Servicing these machines in an ineffective way can directly reduce the overall performance and output of the automation.

The full benefits of mechanisation are only realized when the automation loop has been closed and the islands of automation are robotically connected.

That’s where Fidelrope indoor robot fits in.

In a textbook example of lean manufacturing, Fidelrope indoor robot is designed to predictably and instantaneously react to the electronic request of the machines for service, delivering what the production cell wants, when it wants, in the quantity that it wants for optimal efficiency.

Connecting People with Robots

Like a fleet of fully autonomous, interconnected and automatically dispatched robotic taxis, Fidelrope indoor robot provides nimble “delivery on demand”. Responding just-in-time to the demands of the production environment Fidelrope indoor robot routes smaller material quantities more frequently from any random origin to any random destination, perpetuating the very essence of lean philosophy.

Designed for intelligent human interaction,Fidelrope indoor robot quickly responds to operator “call button” requests, moving work-in-process materials on-demand between manual work stations at the pace set by the production staff. By delivering what is needed in the quantity that is needed at the time it is needed, WIP inventory at the cells is reduced and manual labor efficiency is optimised. In essence intelrope indoor robot repositions the value of labor and provides a truly lean manufacturing environment.

Fidelrope outdoor robot navigation

  • 3D mapping and overlay capability :

Fidelrope outdoor robot obstacle detection and avoidance system enables the vehicle sees with the enhanced ability of visually identifying potentially dangerous obstacles in all weather and lighting conditions.

  • Navigation and Road Following:

Unmanned navigation primarily relies on GPS waypoints. Point-and go functionality in Intelrope outdoor robot allows operators to modify existing waypoints to explore unusual areas or items of interest in real-time. A laser-based road- following system allows the robot to stay on path even if GPS connection is lost between waypoints.

  • Safe Operations:

The Fidelrope outdoor robot uses obstacle detection and avoidance system for dynamic sense-and-avoid behavior. Emergency stop (E-Stop)and fail-safe systems, designed to aerospace standards, ensure safe operations in all conditions
